教师手势是教学视频中一种直观、重要的无声语言。为把握教学视频中教师手势的研究状况及未来有待研究的课题,该文使用文献综述的研究方法,对已有的实证研究进行了分析,总结归纳出教学视频中教师手势的作用,主要体现在提高学习者的学习效果、为学习者提供语义信息、引导学习者注意分配和激发其积极的社会反应等四个方面。在分析教师手势的认知神经科学研究的基础上,针对教师手势对视频学习的影响,提出了未来在心理学层面上应该关注的研究课题,比如教师手势在学习过程的不同阶段有何影响,不同类型的手势作用有何差异,学习者的个体差异是否影响教师手势在学习中的有效性,教师手势如何通过影响学习者的神经活动而影响其学习效果等。
Abstract:Instructor's gesture is an important form of nonverbal information in instructional videos. In order to understanding of current research and future work, the paper reviews previous relevant studies. It is found that there are main four functions of instructor's gestures in instructional videos: Enhance learners' performance, provide semantic information, guide learners' attention,and stimulate learners' positive social emotion. Based on analysis of the cognitive neural studies of instructor's gestures, it claims that future studies still need to further investigate the role of instructor's gestures from a psychological perspective. For instance, how instructor's gestures affect the different learning processes during learners viewing instructional videos; what the differences between different types of instructor's gestures; whether learners' individual differences mediate the relationship between instructor's gestures and their learning in instructional videos; how instructor's gestures influence learners' performance by their neural activities in instructional videos.
