数字化对高等教育高质量发展的影响路径及演化趋势——基于扎根理论、定性比较分析和过程追踪的混合方法研究

摘要:

数字化正深刻重塑高等教育格局,推动其高质量发展。该研究基于2013—2022年中国31个省(自治区、直辖市)面板数据,通过扎根理论分析“教育数字化”及“高等教育数字化”相关政策文本,以识别高等教育数字化影响因素,并将其纳入WSR框架(物理—事理—人理),结合模糊集定性比较分析(fs QCA)与过程追踪法,探究数字化影响高等教育高质量发展的影响路径及演化趋势。研究发现:充分性分析中的8个组态可提炼为环境友好—人理驱动型、资源—环境—人理三元驱动型和资源支持—环境友好型三条路径;动态演化分析显示, 2013—2017年间存在多元路径并存, 2018—2022年间路径逐渐集中于“环境友好—人理驱动”,组态路径显著收敛;单变量演化分析表明,科研投入作为核心驱动要素贯穿始终,呈现整合主导轨迹,教育资源规模作用减弱,协同育人后期涌现,驱动重心向内涵式发展跃迁。研究为揭示数字化赋能高等教育高质量发展的组态效应与演化规律提供新视角,为优化其发展路径提供实践参考。

Abstract:

Digitalization is profoundly reshaping the landscape of higher education and promoting its high-quality development. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) in China from 2013 to 2022, this study analyzes the relevant policy texts of “ education digitization ” and “ higher education digitization ” through grounded theory to identify the influencing factors of higher education digitization, and incorporates them into the WSR framework(physics-reason-human reason). By combining fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA) and process tracing method, this paper explores the impact path and evolution trend of digitization on the high-quality development of higher education. The results of the study show that the eight configurations in the adequacy analysis can be distilled into three paths: environment-friendly-human-rational-driven type, resource-environment-human rational-ternary driven type, and resource-supported-environment-friendly type. Dynamic evolution analysis shows that multiple paths coexisted from 2013 to 2017. From 2018 to 2022, the paths gradually concentrated on “ environmentally friendly-human-rational driven”, and the configuration paths converged significantly. Univariate evolution analysis shows that scientific research investment, as the core driving factor, runs through the entire process, presenting an integrated dominant trajectory. The scale effect of educational resources weakens, and collaborative education emerges in the later stage, driving the focus to leap towards connotative development. This study provides a new perspective on revealing the configuration effects and evolution laws of digitalization empowering the high-quality development of higher education, and offers practical references for optimizing its development path.
