随着社会信息化的不断发展,人们生活与媒介融合的不断加深,媒介素养教育的研究也随之受到世界各国的重视。美国的媒介素养教育虽然起步于20世纪60年代,落后于英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、法国等其他国家,但是经过几十年的努力和发展,已经逐渐形成了具有本国特色的较完善的媒介素养教育体系,又因为其发展过程与全美媒介素养教育的有关会议的召开具有密切联系,因此具有比较完整和清晰的演变历程。本文通过对美国各时期媒介素养定义的演变以及美国媒介素养教育会议主题的概述与比较,研究它们在历史演变过程中呈现的特点和经验,并依据2011年美国媒介素养会议的内容,尝试呈现自己对美国媒介素养教育发展趋势的一些观点,以期对我国媒介素养教育的发展具有借鉴意义。
